I did that at the Franklin Institute when I was in 5th grade in the 60s
I recall going through one of those at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry back in the early 1970s. Now I wonder if there is one firm that makes these things for museums.
Where is this?
It would be great if they could animate parts of it. Maybe the valves?
As a heart patient myself I can understand just what an amazing organ it really is.
tell me where is this display as it would be fun to find out more if it were possible .

A medical student told me I had a beautiful heart to listen to! 😃 I have a mechanic aorta valve which makes a distinct clicky sound. 👂😄
When I went back with my kids a number of years back, I had the exact same thought–I think they shrunk it down some time in the past several decades! 🙂

This was always a highlight of our family's visits to the Franklin Institute back in the 1950's and 1960's. The heartbeat sound was great.

I was there in '79 or '81. I can still imagine the smell of the fresh paint inside of it.
