    Cool shirt.
I remember this was the station we would listen to when we travelled to shows at City Gardens and other north Jersey places.

Disney not related to science or engineering? Thats crazy talk. They have been pioneers in robotics and engineering. The technology they have developed has had impacts on society similar to NASA.
And, being in Florida, you are really close to them.

I feel like "influencer" is just used as a fancy marketing term for a "sales person" these days. But then again, who knows… the term seems to take on a new meaning every couple of years. 🤷‍♂

I like to think of myself as a pico-influencer.

Well influencer isn't a bad thing mostly. Educational institutions and companies from industry in general like to work with "influencers" or people with a large following to spread awareness for their brand, which really is just another form of running a commercial targeted to a certain audience.
When a University runs a campaign with an influencer with a young following the goal may be to make potential applicants to their university aware of their existence, as they may be otherwise completely overshadowed by the popular universities.
I work for an institution that really struggles with people further than 50 miles from here not knowing we exist at all, which makes talent acquisition really difficult. So even if we don't sell anything we need people to know that we exist, which an influencer may be able to help with.

One of biggest dreads in this era is being "under the influence" of someone else but myself.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars JohnnyBoyMusic says:

Ha ha! Fran, you're funny. Influencers attempt to influence others to buy or use a product.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars KB9VBR Antennas says:

You and me both. I guess as someone in their 50's I have a hard time influencing anyone.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dr.Andy Hill says:

I think the term influencer was thought up as a badge for the people who are famous for simply being famous. Sadly I think it reflects the vacuousness of some parts of modern society!

Fran, you are a celebrity to me!
