'right-of-way" is most literal traffic rule and the least observed. 4-way stops are a nightmare.
Actually this is a good example of how even color-blind people can recognize stoplights — red is always at top, and green at the bottom. Yellow/amber was originally created by showing both the red and green lights simultaneously, which looks yellowish-orange from a distance. Eventually yellow became its own dedicated light. With horizontal signals, red is on the left and green is on the right.

As my father says. In most collisions, both parties did something wrong.
Of course there are reasonable circumstances to take into account when analyzing a collision. But in general, it holds true.

I've always wondered why educational films always seem to have a steady narrator voice, but wow and flutter in the background music..
This makes me think of Driver's Ed in HS. We used to have these simulator dashboard devices environments where we'd drive a "car" to a movie.
Made in 1966 and still couldn't be more current today
