Once again the question is - should I paint the house again or just set it on fire? I could probably run this channel without having my talking head in it - just the bench and occasional voiceover - I could make it work. It would likely be more boring, but a lot easier for me to manage, that's for sure! This is as plain as I can get without it going super weird.

Anyone falling in love with, or proposing to someone based on what they see on a YouTube channel is an idiot. My eyes may initially linger longer if I find the creator of a channel new to me attractive, but at the end of the day, I subscribe for the content.
Clive, Dave, Fran, Cody and all. I appreciate all of of your content. I'd also be honored to meet any of you, if ever we cross path, for the content, with or without make up, or lips stick… What ever, just keep the content coming. And people be respectful, Many YT have guards, fences or have to call the police to get rid of trespasser.

I have no valuable input to what seems to be the subject of this video that probably hasn't been said before by someone else… this video showed up when I searched for 'arduino transducer'…) so eh.. yay, search algorithm? (PS: you (or.. rather.. us, as I have another relatively active channel) should do what we want.. be in the video or not. The thing I have realized is, that I prefer the videoes where you can actually hear what's going on in the video, regardless if there is a head attached to the voice or not, so yeah.. I gave my input anyway.. so yeah.. you do you, I don't want much of your videoes, but the ones I have watched are interesting due to the content and I honestly don't give your looks (or not) much of a thought.. in short: do what you want – be in the videoes or not. Sadly there is probably no cure against weirdoes.
It's because this is the Internet which like the real world is a place mixed with smart people such as yourself, and unfortunately dumb vapid people who can't see past and make their judgements based solely on someone's looks. Everyone in any kind of media gets negative comments (like fashion magazines going nuts about crows feet appearing around actresses eyes – only those people will be interested in trivial stuff like that, which doesn't even affect them in the slightest way). Just try to ignore the shitty comments, be true to yourself, and keep your real fans involved by producing the great content that you always do. (What brought me to your channel was the nixie tube and old vacuum display videos – old tech is so cool to see and learn about!)
It's a really obvious and sad thing to see. I remember my first comment when I found your channel saying how refreshing it was to find such a knowledgeable woman ran engineering channel. I hope it's apparent the only reason for me to point out was because I sympathize with having to deal with men on the internet, and not had some deluded sexual interest. I'll never understand what makes some people tick. In any case, your channel is a treasure and way more of your viewers love you for the content than those that are creepers

My long term fiance left me in the early 00's. I then endured 10 miserable years in the dating scene before finally leaving the US, and met my wife abroad. My friends back home are still single. It's terrible trying to meet people these days. As much as tech claims to make our lives better, social media's definitely done much of the opposite.

The radio hams are always disappointed that I was put off by cliquishness from the past (as a kid, being fluent in morse code to even apply was a non-starter).
Apparently I would look a lot better clean shaven and with a perfect set of fake American-style teeth.
