Sounds like you're talking about a Happening – will there be Merry Pranksters? Would there be any way to present it as an educational extravaganza, maybe get some City Government funding?

Fran you should have a multi-day event. Instead of Woodstock, how about FranStock? Make it a week long! THAT would be AWESOME!! Multiple bands performing, multiple mini-venues, multiple-events, multiple movies

It's about 400 miles for me, which is do-able, though I think I'd have to give it a pass if it's winter. Driving through snow and ice is still a little new to me.
