The Tubes suggested "Nomi Song" about two months ago. Shame a unique talent got cut short. I wonder if the SNL skit "Sprockets" has some Klaus Nomi influence?
That’s an awesome bit of trivia. I knew nothing about him until I bought a record collection with a lot of 80’s music and his stuff was in there. His album covers are hard to miss. 👏

I just noticed the vacuum tube spelling out "F R A N L A B"
Recently I came across with a Kylie Minogue concert. There was a Nomi dressed dancer during her song. I couldn't find any connection of this song to Klaus Nomi. It was a quirky remembering of this great artist.
Awhile ago we had a lovely back and forth after i bought a pedal from you and telling you about the neighborhood i live in the east village where your shop used to be. So wild you bring this up! Klaus lived in my building in the 80s. One of my neighbors who is now in her 80s said he used bring them all pastries and he would always sing out into the courtyard in the back area. She said he was just a sweet kinda quiet man until she heard him singing opera on the fire escape. Hope more people can learn about him!

I discovered Klaus Nomi about three years ago… and it is IM-PRE-SI-VE!!!! The best way of introducing him is with the live edition of "Total eclipse" available in youtube… It is PURE FIRE!!!!!
