I'm embarrassed to say that after 50 years of guitar playing, this is the first time I saw a string winder in action.
A contentious issue, some people will lose their minds to see you remove all the strings at once, I always thought that was forbidden and bad for the neck.

Hi Fran , nice ax !! Good tutorial , however I would never – ever use a string winder on my Strat . I have ' lockers ' so it makes it a little easier .

I also put as many winds on each post till the string gets way past the waist. So due the tension the winds want to move upwards and will get pressed tighter together, increasing the friction for better stability. With 09-42 I end up with 2,4 winds on low E / 3,5 on A / 4,5 on D / 5,5 on G / 6 on B and 7-8 on high e.

I assume that's a child's guitar or a travel guitar because it doesn't look much bigger than a vintage Vox Mando-guitar which would have 12 strings in that same general physical real estate!
Keep a pair of crappy wire cutters around just for cutting the strings when you change them, because oftentimes they will develop notches in the blade from the hardened strings and will not work well for stripping wire when you're fixing your amplifier or making patch cables.
