I am an analog electrical engineer with lots of EE friends. I don't know anyone who can stand Bill Nye. I also know a 90 year old PhD physicist who worked at electron microscope development at Bell Labs in the office next to Shockley. He challenged Carl Sagan at military symposium for saying, "An above ground Hydrogen bomb test will set off a nuke winter."
Your basically a 1-woman-show so please don’t let stuff like that bother you. Worry about your steady content flow and not what we are trying to throw at you. If you have time – yes getting responses back are cool but not necessitative, we will still be watching😊

A podcaster I've followed for ages claims to have had dinner with Steve Martin. Mr. Martin told him that, if he goes out to a restaurant, they always rent a private room, they don't sit with the other diners. This is a necessary step, because the last time he tried to do that, a 40-minute meal was interrupted no less than 3 times by fans. At least in the private room, the attention is restricted to the limited restaurant staff covering their meal.
People are watching You tube more because regular TV SUCKS. Yeah, you are going to be recognized at some point. Take it all in stride and stay cool Fran.
I remember some years ago watching the bass player for Foringer talking about beaing on tour, then coming home and wife tells him to take out the trash. That is everyday reality

All it takes to be a celebrity is to be seen by enough people enough times so as to be recognized and if what you do has appeal to the public well just hope no one out there will do you harm. I have a favorite celebrity and her name is Poppy and on her YouTube channel anyone who is disrespectful or threatening to her goes on report and told to "Go away". I have only ever met two celebs in my life-Barry Morse and Mr.T. and those two guys were very decent fellows and no one seemed crowd them. Barry was in Space 1999 and Mr. was The A Team.
The public need to be lower keyed when meeting well known people because after all no one wants to be on all of the time,so back off a little and show some respect as celebs are human as well.
