This is part of what no one saw live on Christmas as was intended. Oh the Humanity! It was all due to a flailed encoder and I was stuck on Xmas with no ability to broadcast, but this is some of what would have gone out live. I had already broken down the projector screen some other stuff in an angry huff, so no movies running in this, but after I cooled off I tried to have a jolly time anyway. Pace yourself..... Ho Ho Ho!

a little bit repetitive (I'm not saying 'boring') from minute 00.59 to 1.12.00, but, generally speaking, very intriguing

Normally I wouldn't watch something like this as long as I have but halfway thru the video I became convinced I lead an intergalactic peace mission to save Venus from falling into a giant Easter egg basket.

    Not getting the negativity.
Yah we know Xmas is all about Consuming & Pretend Guilt, to make them more money.
3 gifts, if you’re a descendant of All 3 Kings.

I like my Pocket Stewie: "I come bearing a gift. I'll give you a hint: it's in my diaper and it's not a toaster."

No worries Fran, my family is celebrating the holidays a little later this year anyway! 2021 was tough, but there's always things to celebrate as we close out the year.

Fran, just discovered you, and fell in love with your content. I can listen to you for hours. So glad I found Fran Lab. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you.

An NCIS episode not long ago had a wall of lava lamps as part of the story line. It was used to generate random numbers which computers can't really do. To save the day and prevent a nuclear meltdown crisis, an agent had to go to the company with the lava lamps and smash them. I thought the wall of lava lamps was a pretty ridiculous notion. Only later did I find out that it is true, it exists, and is at a company named Cloudfare.

Back in the late 1970s I bought one but over the years the two 'gloopy stuffs' appeared to disperse into each other so it then looked horrible. Also the light volatile oily smell convinced me that any mishap that broke the glass would produce something that might ignite just from the lamp's heat. Cool effect though

Love the dueling Mr. T & "NO" buttons, with the racing train in the background 😂

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Danielle White says:

Years ago my boss had one of those no buttons.

I used to have a blue with white Lava Lamp which accidentally became clear with pale yellow. Turns out the dye can break down from sunlight. I had it on my bedroom window sill at my apartment in downtown Raliegh. The window faced north but got some very oblique direct light in the morning.

With [a] great blobber comes great responsibility ~ I always wondered if i ruined my lava lamps by leaving them on too long making their blobs too small and too fast ~ I was always afraid the wax had a memory of it's over heated abuse…
