That's right – generative AI is far from being sentient, it's just a data-driven machine that can make decisions what to do with the data, but it won't assess the effects or even congruence with anything outside the dataset, mainly the real world. Still, it'll generate trash, enlarging the datasets of the following AIs, and if these will use the volume / statistical frequency of data, they may consider it right… which still isn't. Churning out even more shitty data for future generations of AI to use… In other words, an exponentially growing shitshow.

Again I'll say that unless we get legislation labeling AI generated creative material as being such then Art, Writing, Music, etc, human creators will be doomed.
