1987?! That seems quite late for 16mm film. When did 16mm prints go out of commercial production?
I've seen some beautiful marine life in the Red Sea. Just south of Eilat there are 2 sites, the northern one is just called The Coral Sanctuary. Anyone who can snorkle can just potter around the shallow lagoon on the surface and look at all the live corals, soft sponges, colorful fish etc.. Great for kids and adults alike. Further south there is a dive site only 10 to 12 meters in depth, if one does not have a scuba certificate, it's possible to hire a scuba teacher/guide thet will buddy with you all the way. Well worth the effort.
Jacques Cousteau said the Red Sea has the most beautiful aquatic life.
