i am half as old as pong
Oh!nostalgic game.
It was called 'TV Tennis' here in Aotearoa-New Zealand.
Very early home made pong games had bags and bags full of TTL circuits and analog circuits and some of the TTL was sort of analog and some of the analog was sort of digital. The position of the ball was two analog voltages. It was very clever circuits.
Today, it would likely be written in C++ for Windows-11, need an 8 core CPU plus graphics card.
Whatever happened to Pong?
I have a discrete logic board that plays Pong. Don't laugh, and no, it's not currently for sale.
I turned 50 this year also. So happy birthday Pong. 😁
Looking great Fran good to see you in the shorts thing!!! Now I want to go play some pong….
a simple coin-op bar videogame that started a revolution…Pong inspired Breakout from Jobs & Woz which helped them fund Apple…the rest is history
We had the home system. At the time I didn't know there was an arcade version.
