This 16mm film was produced by NASA as the Aeronautics and Space Report No. 100 and features preparations for Apollo-Soyuz and the Earth Resources Technology Satellite which was renamed Landsat 1. I transferred the film with my own Eiki Telecine. Enjoy!

Thanks Fran I’ve got a load of commercially produced Cine8 nasa tapes, I always wanted to get them up on YouTube at some point, I’m so glad you’re doing this it’s brilliant thank you!

Ever since NASA started losing their original types I’ve considered it really rather important that any such document be duplicated who knows what wonders might be found on celluloid in someone’s dusty attic 🙂

It's great you're putting these old NASA films out on the internets…so people who might not ever see these have the chance. I saw these in school…

It shows how in space even the simplest things are hard. Nice film Fran. Keep them coming!

There's a lot of production effort put into these films — how were they used back when they were made? Who saw them?
