Whaaaaat? Yet another joy of YouTube-By-Bot. Exactly what happened to my Voyager Record video from 2017? I have no idea.

YouTube WAS great.
Then google bought it.
Now, it is crap!
Yeah, I reviewed a record player a while back. TOTAL FAIL. I played some music but I talked over it and didn't play more than a few seconds, which was required to prove that the device works! How can you have a review of a record player without actually playing it? I also had my review of a fire piston flagged for "violence" – it's camping equipment!
20 seconds is too long. Samples are allowed to be no more than 8 seconds.
someone at the YouTube servers tripped over a cord and 1200 random videos were lost forever lol
Interesting case. I know that the Voyager record did contain copyrighted sound recordings (e.g., Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" etc) which would not have automatically become public domain just by being included on the NASA original discs. It makes me wonder if the YT copyright claims were from the original artists/sound recording owners/record companies/publishers, or was it the company that reissued the replica boxed set? In other words, is it possible that the claim wasn't from the greeters/artists/producers themselves, but instead by the people selling the reissue compilation that you were playing in the original video. Hmmm.
what if you just paste that video's link into the address line? does it say the video is deleted or does not exist?
Have a look for your video's on a similar parameter search just incase it's on their channel or another one associated with them
Try uploading the video again, but put a caption up on the picture with a © copyright to NASA message on it, as it's NASA it's US government and creative commons so no private company has any legal copyright claim to it.
Fran, check if the video came back… instead of saying "This video is unavailable" like it used to, now it says "This video is private" — which implies that the video does exist, but you have it set to private status.
You have to go to Google's discussion forum. There's a channel for YT. Full of whiners and not much else. But they have someone monitoring it occasionally. If you're lucky they'll notice. If you're very lucky they might even do something about it.
I haven't been notified about any of your vids for months i thought you stopped uploading or youtube unsubbed me but nope they just never notify me i even have the bell on since i subbed and still never.
Isn't something recorded by NASA absolutely public domain? Can't they use common sense and ignore obvious false claims?
Dear YouTube,
we are leaving.
This f*** hijacker pseudo companies hijack not only sound but also channels to steal all the $$$ so it goes now to the hijackers bank account. We can only guess but there are millions of dollars of cash flows in to hijackers bank account every month…
Don't let them beat you down, keep fighting the good fight! 🙂 Also it's exciting to see you closing in on 100k subs… hope you got a good celebration planned!
Bitchute is your answer… Also repost the vodeo under a different name. I would bet you have a copy on disk somewhere.
