Can't believe you bought this fucking camera. $ 200 is just Chinese garbage.

There is their UNI-T company has the UTI260B at about the same price, and it is, at a completely different level!

It's just a lousy toy. UNI-T has much much more serious cameras !!

Clearly a very low resolution IR sensor…

She keeps complaining about "it will not translate color into actual measured temperature" What does she mean? it shows the colors exactly depending on their temperature… very hot items = white hot items = red not so hot= orange a little less hot than that = yellow warm items green and room temperature items blue and gold items purple…

You can adjust the min and max range for the colors as well (so e.g everything under 40C is considered as very cold/purple and everything above 50C very hot.. so the gradient has a finer resolution )

It looks like yours works just as well as my former employer’s $3.5K Fluke camera. They aren’t that precise nor can focus very well….

There is plenty of leftover zipper stock in China. Why not use it? This is a really good, thorough review. Thank you.

sadly, there is no way to match a specific color to a specific temperature. the colors are all just corresponding to the min/max temperatures in view, in all thermal cameras. atleast, as far as I know. This isn't the best thermal camera, but at 32×32 thermal resolution, it's not the worst either and is totally useful and can be a lovely machine…. once you know the emissivity settings for materials, hehe…. those are a bit of a pain even for me.
