The first project in the new lab space is one of necessity - to fix a badly installed HVAC system by installing an assist fan to get a room heated. A little thought, a pencil tracing, and the Shaper Origin will take care of this. Enjoy!

The Shaper Origin is an awesome CNC! A new Adobe Illustrator plug-in was designed released just for that CNC:
@h7sA
Bang on!
Now that you have had the origin for a while, do you recommend it for others? I a hobbiest woodworker.
Has cnc, uses chisel to cut notch….
How mu h was the shaper origin thing?
Anyone else expecting "I love it when a plan comes together" at the end there?
It's cool and all, but is it really easier than just cutting it out with a saw?
That Origin is a pretty awesome tool!
I’ve been wanting to use one of these! My stepdad has one at his maker space. Thanks for the demo!
Is it me, or would making a template out of 1/4 inch mdf and using a regular router be a lot faster? Cool tool but not sure of what applications I would use it for…
I have had two of those duct boosters blow their circuitry when plugged in. Very sensitive.
I AM GLAD TO SEE YOU GETTING SETTLED IN YOUR NEW PLACE GREAT 👍 IDEA 💡 ON THE HEATING VENT
I'd have gone with the 3-phase squirrel cage blower. You might not be able to open any doors while it's running, but you'd be guaranteed to have as much AC as the building's systems can deliver.
818 up 18 down 6.990 views hmm..Good tool, but I'll stick with my Classic 80' router, and a Bunch of Scribbles I would Just Draw out..
Interesting piece of gear but I can't help thinking it would have been about 3 days quicker to cut out the shape of the hole from MDF and use a router bit with a roller bearing and just cut around that. Each to their own though!
