One of the Frantone The Sweet prototypes I made and sold back in 2000 has come back to the shop for repair, so I took the opportunity to show it in this video. It reveals some of my proven techniques for prototypical construction which I still use today. Enjoy!

so many great nuggets of wisdom in this video – the little details learned from experience that you can't get from written instructions, schematics, or diagrams
Germanium transistor? to be used with gold plated RCA connectors and long grain copper wire speaker cables under a full moon. Get hip Fran! DSP and code written in C++ (just kidding)
Wow~~!!
Nice work Fran, but what does it sound like?
I can see it goes from saw to square to invert saw again. I'll have to check a consumers demo to find out, eh?
No doubt, da bomb, since made in the 90's
Shoe Goop is still available as of 2021
They do still make shoe goop I use it all the time for all kinds of fixes I've saved so many tys and things for my kids that stuff makes a hero out of an ordinary dad lol 🙂
Fran you’re such a treasure!
You could also make a custom dip molded clear rectangular cover (open at bottom, die punched holes for the knob stems). Your decal label with remain stuck and visible for all time no matter how crazy the environment exposure. [Shoe goo is a solvent based vinyl product (I think). That stank is the solvent MEK evaporating. Yeah it's nasty and really flammable too.]
It would have been a plus to hear The Sweet.
Still one of the coolest channels on YouTube
I remember Shoe Goop! We used to sell it at K-Mart. Sold it in the Shoe aisle!
Condenser? Wow, that's olde school. Enjoy your vids.
Need a new Oscilloscope…!
Beautiful and Genuine! Thanks for the inventions, Fran!
