Woodworking Philly Style is down and dirty woodworking on the cheap. Use what's on hand and nothing fancy. Verstehen Sie? Gut.
My first official build in my new wood shop space is a quick and simple one, but I do have some how-to tips on hand chiseling a mortise the old fashioned way, and doing smooth jigsaw cuts. Enjoy!

For the tilting head, maybe a Bellville wavy washer or two… and a wingnut. Love your videos.
Old fashioned square nut??
as ever great video Fran !!
it's pretty late but a square nut might have been a bit better
Absolutely gorgeous bench, and the Lie-Nielsen chisels are second to none. Great work!
hey fran, great vid. have you ever used t-nuts in a project?
That's a handy cam 😀. Interesting that you also talk in millimeters. As an european I always struggle with your inches.
Nice work! Seems like you are sitting real close the computer fan, like Really close. Kind of hypnotizing listening to the different RPM 😂
I wonder what the designer of that tripod would think if they saw you using a tiny camera as opposed to what it was designed for. My guess is the mount was designed for a 16mm camera?
Great invention you created again Fran; Thanks fer D Video. Cheers !!!*****.
You are a very talented fabricator
Nice video. Made me smile.
