Hey Fran. If you are planning to make an EL panel, check out Applied science's video on EL spray paint. He also have a custom driver. You could mask the paint with vinyl cutouts, peeling after each layer.
also did you save that stereo revox reel to reel deck from the lab clean out that thing is gorgeous I hope you got it.
This may be a super long shot but I bought an atari logo T-shirt on ebay from someone called shirts by rock and the screen printing is awesome on it he might be able to help you if you can find him and this is one awesome shirt, the printing is top notch.
