As usual I cannot post comments here (no Google for me!) so best to post comments on my twitter page if you want a reply.....
So many people have asked about my Space Attack! cabinet and how to make a multicade so here is a simple overview of what you need to do. A project like this has lots of details that you mostly have to work out yourself because of the differences in cabinets, monitors, game PCB pinouts, and controller options - but this video shows how to get started and the basics you will need to work out. I built this cabinet in 2000 to run original arcade PCB game board pulls, but converted to multicade PCB in 2007. Good luck, and Enjoy!

When did you hair become gray?
How do you rebuild the monitor? Where do you buy new CRTs?
She so amazing I love consoles and science
As a kid I would have killed to have a spy hunter arcade game ( seated )
As an adult I still would! Lol
Fran you're so awkward but in a cool way. 🙂
Space Taxi…. Commodore 64
You rock Fran! I am building a bar top arcade using retro pi. Yay! Galaga!
Fran you are amazing!
Space Fat….
Loved the name "Space Attack". 🙂
I always wanted to make a MAME cabinet and rock out like the good old 1980s! I hope to do it eventually. Love the old school arcade games I played as a teen!
.
I remember one of the first electronic arcade games in the UK, back in 1970, at my college. It was what came into the home as Pong. Loads of TTL logic gates and a monochrome tube.
For those who don't know, 'Checkmate' was pretty much a mid-1970s primordial version of Slither.io / Agar.io !!! Up to 4 players, and very fun. Like good ole "snake" but you get to kill the other players.
