Pressure strain gauges everywhere. Wheatstone bridge sensor period. Then crosscheck each redundant location-based. Read in bars. I had an electronics instructor in Norman Ok. that worked on Saturn 5 rocket team. I used Tectonics Multichannel annalizer to record 16 channel data on mining shovels. We had quite a discussion about these and telemetry. A family friend and fellow engineer watch his telemetry data go blank when the space shuttle exploded. Oh what a sad day.
