LOL, I instantly recognized that loudspeaker from the DX-160 general coverage receiver. I hated the audio from my '160 back in the 1970s and swapped it out for a hi fi speaker. It was tinny sounding!

The one in the move was a Radio Shack speaker. Bugged me as one of the only thing that looked out of place.
Shockingly the Apollo 13 film is more than half way back in time to the real Apollo 13 events. So "period" features are another "period" away 😐
