The thrilling conclusion of Project Egress happened on July 18, 2019 at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum where Adam Savage and his team constructed the Apollo 11 Command Module Hatch from all the components that we made. My latch, and my name, are now on exhibit in the same hall as Glamorous Glennis, The Spirit of St. Louis, Neil Armstrong's Apollo 11 Moonwalk Suit, and all the others. I also got to sign the hatch along with all the other makers that attended this marathon 5-1/2 hour build. Oh - and I touched a genuine Moon Rock! Enjoy!

I thought your shots were good. I'm looking at vids from the SF MF now. Maybe your there ?
if you go to a sporting event in DC the first thing the announcer says is, "welcome to Washington DC, the world's most powerful city'–it's quite sobering—fran is the best!
Wonder how his sister is doing.
Now it's all clear. incredible.
Wow
I just rewatched this. Must admit I got pretty choked up and verklemmt. So much went into this. All these pieces coming together from all the people making a work of art, technology, and science. Moving.
Who built the shitty latch that was broken
Where is this old Tony's part
Savage the toy maker i wouldn't let him near Lego, have you seen his epic screw ups on his channel ham fisted would be putting it mildly, thank god he didn't build the real one.
