I would like to complete all the printing projects that got shelved because of the move early in the year, but the real trick is being able to afford to do them.

Destroy capitalism and make art.
Auction them off on Whatnot ๐
Careful with Kickstarter or similar sites; Not that they are tricksters or such, but I think there's something about the project has to be "some new invention" kind of thing….? Not entirely sure if the selling custom art runs would fly, make sure to double check before committing time/effort into it!
According to several sources about sales tax nexus "In most states, the threshold for economic nexus is $100,000 in sales or 200 transactions over 12 months." Or is "art" different in some way? Or is there something else at play here. Sounds complicated in any case.
why not do the art as part of the lab channel? It might take slightly longer but you would still be making content for thee channel so it wouldn't be taking time away. II would love to see the process
Hey, Fran. If you see a dislike on your YT report, that's me. I hit the wrong button. I hit like immediately after, of course. As an older self-employed person myself, I can relate to the "having enough energy" situation. Time management really becomes crucial for me now, which can be frustrating. I hope you find the time, energy, and economic model that will allow you to make the art your YouTube supporters would like to buy from you. Merry Christmas and all the best to you in 2023!
I like, Fran, How you find time to express yourself so that it's good for you and good for the channel. However you do this, I encourage you to keep it up! If your method fails to produce a โsuccessful" channel output for one week, but succeeds the second week I would count that as a "W". Just don't worry about a temporary setback. It's all golden for us.
Your channel is awesome and great keep up the good work
Macrame a purse with LED lights into it!
Hmmm, selling prints on Etsy? That should be a sure bet they'll sell, but even then you still run into those taxes.
You really need time for yourself! All work and no play makes Fran a dull girl, ha. Maybe not dull, but unfortunately burned out.
what do people have against patreon ? do they hate them taking their cut ?
Your channel is art!
