Hey Fran, i'm a big fan, send me some of your songs and i will teach ( L.U.C.I), in the mean time.
I travel a lot, and if I'm in your area when you get it together, i would be happy to jump in , good luck Fran , i'll be watching
You need to be the ground breaker girl. Set up an AI drummer.
Wish I were here.
Check out a band called The Dispersions.
Im sure plenty of folks in the philly DIY scene would be down- look into local bands playing gigs in west philly at small venues/house venues/etc..
I'll be your bass player, but zoom cuz i'm in Arkansas
Guitar Center, tons of freaks that love to play and hang out. your in Philly?
George Hrab is a great local Philly drummer who played with the Philadelphia Funk Authority for 24 years, he might like the idea!
When in philly…Stinking Lizaveta
Bonjours de (Paris) France , I wish you a Good and Happy New Year to you and everyone you want .. kisses and don't change nothing ..
From one Philly Musician to another, while its tough in general to get a solid band together, Philly can be almost impossible in this regard. However, i'm always writing, and recording when i can. I primarily play loud rock, but also blues, surf, goth, (a little folk maybe).. I primarily play guitar and sing, but i also play bass and drums. i'm available to talk more about what it is you really want to do. it sounds like you need a backing band for both regular live gigs, and maybe a variety show? (Tv Talk show style).. feel free to message me back..
Many old school country artists would use house bands or hired guns for shows. Not uncommon at all, lots of fun. Good luck sounds like a great time.
I did not make it clear enough in the video that the Fran Band is a paid gig. But they have to play WITH me, and that was the sticky feature I am referring to. Okay – now continue…
