Another 16mm film from my archive - this reel has some unusual deterioration in the form of some solarization and other effects, and needed much correction. In this film we get to see the very new Air and Space museum in Washington, with testimonials and lots of tinted archival footage. As always I transferred this film with my own Telecine. Enjoy!

Wow, Thank You for uploading this video. It has been quite a while since I have posted a comment to your videos, but I have seen you publish many interesting ones, and I have checked out many of them.

I have a "bunch" of GAF View-Master 3D stereoscopic "slides discs" from many of the related historical areas of the United States, and the sculpture that is depicted in the thumbnail image for the video, is in one of them, or a very similar one is featured on one of the discs in the bright sunlight.

In any case, Thanks again, and Best Wishes into the future, in these most interesting times.

Oh Yeh, the HeathKit ET-3100 trainer arrived, and powers on, and appears to be in somewhat decent condition for its age, with just a very tiny amount of oxidation around the corners of the front panel, and at least one broken-off wire stub lodged in one of the breadboard sockets. I look forward to tinkering with it, starting with some LEDs, and then proceeding further.

I know that I will enjoy this video, and I plan to watch it a bit later, but I wanted to share my initial thoughts, and perhaps I will join in to your live chat, assuming that you still host them on Saturday afternoon or evenings. ๐Ÿ™‚ John

Nice x-fer Frannie & everyone should visit the Nat'l Air and Space museum at least once. Interestingly, no mention of Glenn Curtiss, who also pioneered the early aviation (and bicycle & motorcycle) engineering & development. While the Wrights deserve a place in history, they also stifled early aviation development via patent infringement fights against Curtiss & others in the US. If you ever get a chance, visit the Curtiss museum in Hammondsport, NY. They also restore vintage aircraft there.

More memories of Movie Night at the Airmen's Club at Keesler AFB back in the late 70's.
