I'm late to the game on this one, but I thought of another easy dirty way to test it at different frequencies. Plug it into a non-inverter little gas generator and push on the governor to nudge the RPMs.

spooky rife machine ..i sure wish you could figure that one out fran???? fran your amazing and SMARTTTT

100-130 volts? Plug it STRAIGHT into the wall. No, seriously, that is how it works. Do the math. Ohm's law. Those meters were common in generator sets. A resistance of 16K ohms @ 120 volts is 7.5 mA. That is not a COINCIDENCE. Emergency generator power was more likely to run over 60Hz than under.

Min 19 to 21 is where it happens.

The "Do not open" and "Sealed" warnings (and variations) are common on old test equipment in order to discourage users from "fixing" them. As you know, these meters have very delicate internal components that are easy to damage. I had to learn this the hard way while trying to learn how to fix them. I "fixed" more than my fair share! Some meters, Weston 260s and old Thomson ammeters for example, even have some kind of resin covering the screw you need to remove to open up the device.

Very cool. I have a meter like that on a 1970s era (is that an era?) Onan generator control panel, when I first saw it, I was like wtf is this…lol

Haha the exact phrase I expect to hear from someone who loves viewing EM energy.

    Analog FTW!!

Fantastic, an Electronic Kalimba! This is worth investigating!

That is a cool peace of equipment

I found when i was little if you sing at it it will read your voice

By the way – Yes, I did see that I had the plug in the "normal" input and moved it over to the "Bass" input to do the test. I just didn't get it on camera.
