Flat earth triggers the religious mechanism in some people's brains. It's built in, and not everyone knows it's there and can therefore deal with it. Flat Earth was indeed started by the religious, and the parallels are exact. The only chance either the religions / Flat Earthers have is to try to make people doubt that reality is real.
It doesn't look schizophrenic to me Fran. The fact remains that cities have been filmed over horizons that by all accounts should not be observable at such a distance… That's a fact. In the Felix Red Bull space jump, it was curved yes. But at that altitude, it should not have been. Even Neil Tyson is waking up to these facts which is hilarious to watch. No parallax effect among the stars is an interesting one as well. However they are apparently extremely far away from what we're led to believe so yeah… Who knows about that one. Yet seems compelling. In Quantum Physics the idea is to study and examine the very small to better understand the very large. Could this not also be applied to our knowledge of the parallax effect?
Anyway, it's important to research both sides of a debate before coming to any final conclusion.
one of the weirdest aspects of this flat earth is how the terrain repeats itself again and again as you fly in one direction. not only is the world flat, but it repeats endlessly.
FE'er's are sketchy…I would suspect it was an employee, or even a "hit and run" where they go in and pit things around or in products for others to find later. Like the religious books you find

The effect of gravity does not allow for an object as vast as a planet to be stretched into a flat plane.
The lunch box as a camera case has the design problem in which the latch can accidentally be flipped open as you pick up the handle – thus spilling the contents. Learned this early as a school kid.
The earth isn't round, the earth isn't flat. Its a misshapened rock, made round by the water body mass held together by gravitational pull.

A Flat Earther with a smart phone is the ultimate irony. The GPS in the phone in their hand has the WGS84 reference ellipsoid embedded in it's code. The proof of the globe is literally in their hands.

Great story…. 😊 when working with very long straight flat machine tool beds, with one end very accurately level, the other end will be off level due to the earths curvature. 😉

People's fears & phobias, make them do strange things, by rashional standards. Unfortunately not all human brains are made with the switched on capacity, for rational logical thinking.
School science said to me long ago that the earth is heated internally by radioactive decay. So when volcanoes erupt, wheres all the radioactve isotopes? Because, science…can sometimes b full of bull feces. But satelites in orbit of a flat disk..preposterous.
