The Science of Food is On The March in this 16mm film from my collection that is definitely making its last stand here. Pretty much only pink left, but as usual I transferred this reel with my own Telecine and took out as much of the magenta as I could. Enjoy!

Fallout 4 vibes
I was 3 in 1974.
Cool Fran!
Thank you Fran 😊
Also, watching the intro credits: why isn't this a youtube channel? I'd watch NSTA Science Screen Reports all the dang time!
I've watched so many of these videos, and wondered each time, and realized you're probably one of the perfect people to ask: What is up with that central spindle on the final video in the intro? Is there a reason it needs to have a fixed orientation that the "dash" forces on the "square hole"?
John Lennon influenced this backing track🤭
I think the music used is rather distracting and unnecessary but the spoken content is very informative. I remember Hollerith cards and even using them to run a small program on a mainframe when I was in High School during the late 70s.
❤
After seeing the droughts out west the last couple years, that segment about irrigating arid land was a bit… 🤨
The backwards audio is making me feel like I ate something I shouldn't have..
What? No nixies?
