I love Fran lab
Thank you.
Happy New Year
Is that a HO scale Accurail 40' Reefer behind the tender? I'm not a hardcore train person, but if I spotted that correctly, I worked on that mold in the 90's!
This is totally off topic. What i would like to hear is your input on truly archiving data for long term storage (50 years or more). What kind of media; what kind of hardware such as dvd burners or tape machines? What formats that will stand the test of time. Will we be able to open the files 50 years form now. I was trying to find something for engineering prints to archive and found it to be real rabbit hole of different opinions. Whether or not to save as a DWG or DFX? There's the drawings all sorts of text files; data table files; images and videos. what would be a good way to fight the "obsolescence" battle? I'm wondering how museums deal with this? I value your insight.
Happy new year fran. Been watching your stuff a long time. I hope 2023 allows you to get off the hamster wheel 😊
You know I work but 4 hours 5 days a week but I don't have time to watch your output. You are the burst water main of geeky YouTube. Will I have time later to dip my metaphorical toes in your stream? No, no I won't.
Happy New Year! Let's look forward to what 2023 will bring us!
I so enjoy the train Dear: leave it up as long as you can. Thank you for all you do. I have learned a lot from you. You have inspired me to go in new directions and try new things. Thank you so much!
That list was written by an engineer😃😅
Fran is awesome
Happy New Year Fran, I look forward to more of your hard work in 2023.
You got me curious about the Lepy/Lepai amplifier, so I ordered one from Amazon. I had to cancel the order and reorder from Parts Express to make sure I got the TI3118 one. I downloaded the data sheet for the TI chip, which turned out to be 49 pages long. It can operate with a minimal heat sink because it is 90%+ efficient. Very interesting little chip.
Fran, some how YT unsubscribed me? Ya-yes, I remember watching Willie the Worm, Jerry in Hatfield
Really appreciate all the hard work you put into the channel!
How odd. I had no idea you had so many videos. I feel like YouTube doesn't notify me of these things. Not all of your videos are my thing but I generally like watching them
I ran into your double yesterday unless you were in Virginia 🙂 Could've sworn it was you 🙂 Almost asked but I figured there was only a minor chance. Happy New Year Fran
You did really good Fran! Thanks for all the post! Cheers!
