I don’t know why, but I teared up when I saw how simple the schematic was. I felt really nostalgic even though I was born in 2007.
I have a question. If I were to use +9V could I replace the PNP's with NPN's. I am an Electrical Technology Student Newbie. And I was just wondering. since NPN's are preferred or at least that is what I've learned. I know thats not really keeping in the spirit of the original. Did I mention that I was 6 when sputnik made its first orbit. I have returned to school as an old man to learn EE something I am very passionate about and now have time to explore. Great kit idea.
