I took a break from moving to tend to a vintage Frantone Vibutron that came in for some work and give a little tour of my design. Enjoy!

How does it sound?
All right, can be found here.
Can I suggest a product to build?
Music keyboards, even high-end ones, have lousy speakers in them if they have internal speakers at all.
This criticism includes brands like Roland, Kawai, Alesis, Yamaha and Korg. They need theater house sound systems or studio monitors with sub-woofers to sound right. Keyboard amps are too bulky for people's home studios and they're not stereo. I'm wondering if a soundbar would work well, but I think it needs to have near-field speakers and a subwoofer. I don't think soundbars have near-field speakers. It should be as wide as the keyboard (52" or 53" for 88 keys)
I almost; well actually, I mostly don't believe what I've found here. This is fun. I like Fran.
Welcome to the infamous Doctor Fraun– 'ken–stein's. FRAN–tastic Labor–ratory To witness The VIBERATRON…OOOOUUE!
Wow screening chips is a drag! And at that price I hope you could swap back the rejects. Wonder if you could use a CA3080, great for VCA use. And an adjustable duty cycle for the pulse modulation does cool stuff. But you'd never get anywhere if I was part of Frantone, "feature creep" forever.
I still have my Vibutron and I always will, thank you Fran.
I looked up your website, and it just warms my heart to see all your pedals! You're clearly a brilliant woman, with a true American spirit. Keep on chugging!
So this "vibutron" sends out pings or pulses of sine waves?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a craftsmanship. Beautiful
Could not you use a 555 voltage doubler ?
Hi Fran !!
Thanks so much for making my The Sweet pedal !!
Your the best ~ I wish you were my aunt…..
If you used TVI diodes to protect your input, you would never have a transient spike again.
