I have been getting more adventurous with the Shaper Origin handheld CNC router. This video shows some of my progress in a project that I've been working on for months, it's a clock of course, and I decided to make the wooden case with the Origin. Enjoy!

Thanks Fran, very cool.
Geez, that's so cool!
holding it for one 1/8" pass is fun. but by the 3rd pass i question my intelligence
This is great. If you made an AM/FM radio in this same enclosure (complete with FranLab logo) I'd buy it.
That's craftsmanship! 👍 FranLab and your signature look awesome! I'm sure the clock will look great and be very functional piece. I look forward to the updates. ^_^
What a cool tool.
Thanks for showing!
So Cool!
Frantastic!
Sweet. Looking forward to seeing it finished Fran
That tool seems more and more awesome each time you show it.
I love you more…
Interesting! How the heck does this thing know where its at?
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Interesting stuff, well done 👍
Were thole holes and washers intentionally places that close to the edge (and yes, I know there's layers underneath that forming the laminated case…) Looks fabulous though!
stellar work there, Fran.
hummm, textures wouldn't be too difficult to do…
Interesting hybrid machine: All the flexibility of hand tools with the precision of a machine. Felt ambivalent as I like the flexibility, but I like how a 3d printer or an engraving cnc can be left to get on with the job, almost as an employee while I do something else. Thank you for sharing!
Looks fab!!
Hi Fran Havent seen you on Twitter lately?
