When the usual tools don't work, you gotta go back the basics. My very first tool will do the trick! Enjoy....

Only Fran would take a hammer and screwdriver to get into delicate electronics, she's one of a kind😂
Anything you do is fun to watch. Longtime fan.
Just a tip about "9 Volt" NiMH batteries. Most of them have 7 cells giving them a nominal 7 x 1.2 = 8.4 VDC. I have even seen them with only 6 cells for only 7.2 VDC. However, there are some with 8 cells for a real 9.6 VDC. Some are honest about this such as the Tenergy Centura as described on Amazon as "Voltage: 8.4V.". This is typical. But Powerex (MAHA) has a "True 9.6 Volt" version with 8 cells. Some equipment, like certain model railroad wireless throttles, have a minimum voltage too low to work well with 8.4 volt "9 volt" batteries.
I have that white Panasonic charger
also use it over single use batteries, they last a long time!
I have watched your videos with some interst during for some time, and I´ve also subscribed. I watched some of this particular video perhaps two weaks ago. It´s obviously ment to be a joke of some missguided sort, and ment to be funny. Well, it´s not! Please cut this silliness out, and resume making regular videos as before, please.
Effing BS Fran …youtube has not been putting your videos in my feed and i have it set to see everything that you post .but i got a whole bunch to watch now 🙂 ..these dicks ..i tell ya.
Yeah, no electronic horror, but it does show that the struggle we all face when trying to break into some enclosure is real and universal. Thank you Fran.
This is not the way! 😂
NiMH batteries are awesome. I have 16 Panasonic AA batteries from Dollarama which I use in everything and they work great. This includes the kitchen clock which takes 1 battery and lasts about 1 year before it dies due to self discharge, and my Lego Technic set which takes 6 batteries and has as much power as alkalines but lasts about 1/2 as long at about 1 hour of runtime, depending on the motor load. So far these batteries have been charged about 100 times and still work fine.
All I can think while I'm watching Fran drill, hammer and pry her way into this ridiculous thing is, this is why Big Clive's catch phrase was born… he can fit a great deal of violence to a recalcitrant broken item (and sometimes his person) into One moment, please. 🤣
Seriously, I don't know what they thought they were hiding or protecting with this level of hack proofing.
…glad you did'nt choose to became a dentist..
Torx security screws…. Had to deal with them at my shop with Rowenta steam irons.
Next project, replace the battery in a $1,000 smart phone. Drill, hammer, chisel; check, check, check.
Very cool autopsy, even if the mystery was not solved. And you are adorable!
