I found myself alone for a minute in the Rothko Room at the National Gallery in Washington DC... Enjoy!

One of those isn't genuine. It's a fire alarm panel.
Art
Too bad they don't provide seats in front of the paintings. The thing about Rothko is, you have to sit down, shut up and just see. Thanks for this.
Beautiful! I'd love to get to see his work in person. You're lucky you got the room to yourself for a moment.
Thankyou. Where?
Two jobs ago, the paint department mixed their own colors, and used pieces of scrap wood to test it …kinda reminds me of that…
I do a lot better job at using masking tape to make edges when I paint walls at home. What version of Gliden Spread Satin was the paint crew using?
Yep. I could be an artist.
This is crap. Stop pretending like it's art.
I feel the need to paint a stripe down the middle of my car.
Rothko's work is very moving to me. Don't know why, it just tickles something in my brain. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful art. I love the smaller one, with the text. I wish everyone a happy Easter 🐣 😊 🕊🍀❣️
Fantastic, thanks for sharing this experience. I’d love to visit the museum sometime, but in the meantime, this helps!
Literally the most over rated and pretentious artist of all time.
