But you did it Fran. And good on ya. As a guy that's moved constantly myself pretty much all of my life, having spent not much more than a few years in a given place, beginning at birth, I feel your pain.
Keep on… Your presence matters. The ups, the downs, the run of the mills… They all shape us. Don't let it get the best of you, just as you haven't this time. I know I'm late in this particular video, but maybe look back if and when it happens yet again… You obviously didn't get to where you are by giving up. And as long as you never do, you win. All we can ever do is keep going and see what tomorrow holds.
It's never about the end. It's about the journey.
i lived in bucks county in the 80's lots of good food but not for me now im 180n miles north, better air, water, time ~.
Fran I'm quite older and currently in South America. As an "electronicien" I've experienced being thrown out from small&big corporations more than once and wasn't capable to manage my despair and tristesse until I radically changed my point of view: I said my self that if you are not welcome somewhere any more you have to take this as a positive signal for me and I had to follow the forces that would take me to where I was really needed. It proved to be extremely positive, and helped me to find new places where I was welcome, needed and very often with better rewards. Alors enfants de la electronique!! G.G.
You should move to Albuquerque land is cheap here and we have plenty of science museums, plus New Mexico has a lot of culture and history you would love it.
Up rooting a life is difficult, at best, no matter how old you are. I wish you well in these insane times.
Ok, find a place that fits in the area and don't wait for the last minute. Setup a lab in the backcountry area in a big barn next to the wild animals. Could be your last move since you might actually love the freedom of a less busy place. Can make it happen if you really want to. Rent a place and buy it later. Change is the only thing that is constant.
Nooooooooooooooooo! I love FranLab!
Sounds like I'd be getting the hell outta there. Kinda got the same thing going on where I live, but on a much smaller scale. I live where Cummins is headquartered and with all the new high paying jobs they've brought in over the last decade it has made our cost of living sky rocket in about a 50 square mile area to the point that unless you hold one of these high paying positions it's nearly impossible to make it here. And forget about making it alone. I feel for ya. I'm going through your videos now, so I'm hoping to see some good news somewhere between then and now.
I live in a heavily populated area and find I have the same problems greed is like cancer on Humanity.
You need to get a ritch bitch —-like me.
What causes the evictions?
The use of those analogue multi-meters though. 🙁
Move to Florida Fran, space coast, we have SpaceX, Blue Origin, many Satellite companies and plenty of guitar players wanting effects!
You young whipper snappers always think the sky is falling ….LOL
We would welcome you here in Missouri a city like Springfield would be nice and we are a pretty laid back state real estate is probably about half what what your paying now I'm 68 yo Viet Nam Vet and I do OK.
