From my FransGiving livestream, I talk about some of the music that plays in my personal playlists, talk about bands that have many names, and go off on a rant that shows just how old and crotchety I have become. Enjoy!

MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SONG is "Fury Eyes" by the Creatures!!
So, no mainstream pop (even from the 70s and 80s)?
Just dunk outta date biscuits in a cuppa tea😅
you have great taste in music Fran. Blue sunshine is an Ace album. I have all of the Cocteaus on vinyl, all of This mortal coil, Dead can Dance, Dif juz etc. etc.. Sheer brilliance. 😉
I feel ya. No one exists in the moment anymore.
Hey, Fran – if you want a tour of the "Carma Organ" in Milwaukee, hit me up. I've known the builder for 15 years. It's not the Wanamaker, but it's still cool.
Your content is always so interesting and informative.
Good Frant, you should do a bit on multiverse vs metaverse
Yea but, you have a paper. Nice.
I saw Tool in October and no phones requested by the band. And in Nov 14 I saw Loreena McKennitt and no phones there too and the ushers enforced the no phones. Both were amazing concerts.
Steely Dan? Weather Report? Spyra Gyra?
Sheeew… Thanks for your thoughts. Mine are pretty simmilar. Its weird feeling like youre in a sea of phone screens and yet yours is in your pocket. And yet still, you feel so alone.
New Subscriber here. Hard for me to tell, looks like you have Pee-Wee Herman sitting on top of a Tektronix 531, Fender amps, all kinds of fascinating equipment. Keep up the good work, I love it.
you almost got to monks of doom (re: campervan) Awesome music talk, lots of overlap with my tastes.
Phones are just a mind virus!
