CNC means Computer Numeric Control. This is human controlled…Though it is cool. But can't give you the precision of a CNC. Very expensive tool, I'm guessing several thousand. No power switch?! LOL!

Hey Fran! I got one too and so far it's been wonderful. Of course the first thing I started to investigate was if I could use the shaper to make a prototype circuit board.
I only watch because I love to hear you chat. I'm a bit dense otherwise x

I'd really like a Shaper Origin… sigh, one day they'll start shipping to Australia.
As far as the power switch goes, maybe you need power points around the walls with switches or an emergency stop – can't see a "safe" way of having a second power button on the Origin…
