This 16mm Coronet film from my archive is an amazing look at the classifications and life cycles of stars, which some great animations and graphic illustrations. As always I transferred this film with my own Telecine and corrected color to taste. Enjoy!

I’d like to just get stoned at Fran’s house and watch science films on the projector all day
We are stardust…
Hey, that film is heavily red shifted! It must be traveling away from us at great speed! – – – – : – )
"original transfer without correction" you're looking pretty red. Maybe it's time to get out of the sun.
I think I saw this one– I feel that view down the pipe of that solar observatory is familiar.
I heard that there is a star in the centre of our solar system that responsible for global warming. Is that true?

And Q had to interfere, to alert the Borg of the problem, and I'm ii% sure KMordddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
It's wonderful that your digitizing these old films and releasing them to the internet where they'll live forever. Hopefully everyone realizes the time & effort you put into this project and appreciate it. I, for one, do.
Fun fact: This Sunday at 2am, the Sun changes it's daily schedule and rises one full hour later that morning and sets a full hour later that evening… hoo ray for DST!… Spring is on it's way, soon.
Half dozen people by the pool, and NOT ONE of them had a smart phone!! 😱😅
1970: About the same year my dad would sit down with me and go through the Time-Life book: The World We Live In. Great introduction to our solar system in visual form for a kid.
nice xfer & color-correction Fran, looks like Kitt Peak, AZ
