That dust is probably just all the dirty China air, the pollution out there is horrendous.
Back in 2006 or so I shopped for and bought a HEPA air cleaner. I only wanted to get one with a washable filter and the Honeywell HFD 130 has been going strong ever since. It has three fan settings, timer from 1 to 10 hours, and a handy graph showing when the filter should be ready for a wash (based on settings and use time). It'd be nice if it were sort of a vertical narrow footprint like the Kenmore, but it takes up the space of a potted plant instead.Yes it's the Honeywell HFD 130. Buy now! hah, but yeah it's been a rare keeper.
It's used. The dust is from the ionization.
Lady, you just bought an used item! You can always exchange it with the receipt.
PS: keep the drawing class intro to a minimum.
China is a big coal user, and the pollution is horrific. Welcome to central asia.
I think the missing button was for the self-cleaning fonction…
At that point with the dirt u may aswell just not use one lol also it honestly should be a crime to sell stuff with ozone tbh
I used to work at sears, (assuming you got it from a Sears Hometown or Sears.com) The first 3 digits on the model number before the period are the manufacturer code. You can look this up on the internet. That can divulge fun information and a good source of parts should anything break in it. I have also found mods that you can do to things to gain additional features sometimes, not originally spec'ed by Kenmore.
Too much complaining. You'd better be happy to see the charcoal left inside your air purifier because they actually use REAL charcoal to deodorize your room.
Did you take out the Healthy Everpresent Powder Additive? you just removed the active ingredient! 😀
I had a ultraviolet ray machine that had a mask for breathing "healthfull" ozone.
Just so you know Kenmore is a bogus name. Kenmore is Sears house brand. So they buy from the lowest price and badge it Kenmore. The 3 digit model number (If sears is still doing the same number system) is the actual manufacturer.
For example, all of my Kenmore appliances are Whirlpool, GE, Roper, State Industries. All of which have the Kenmore badge on them.
Isn't Kenmore a sticker company? They make badges that fit on whirlpool and more recently LG stuff among other brands
If you have never powered it up before opening it yourself, that’s not ozone you smell coming out of it. Ozone will begin to dissipate immediately and within about 2 hours (for the volume of ozone that’s capable of generating) will have lost the third atom and reverts to standard oxygen again.
