Another 16mm film from my collection - this one is from Xerox - You might not think of them when you think of cartoons, but it was Xerox Films that made the Grammar Rock series of catchy cartoons that everyone of a certain age knows very well. This one was produced for the UK and has a sort of Pink Floyd The Wall meets Sesame Street kind of vibe if you ask me. As usual I transferred this reel with my own Telecine and made color corrections to taste. Enjoy!

Any more like that, Fran? Can’t wait to show my students.
I wonder if the initial part of that Xerox intro was done on an old Xerox computer? (competitor to the IBM)
I remember this! 😊
Ooo!! I remember watching those School House Rock segments during Saturday morning cartoons in the 70s, up here in Ontario Canada.
I guess the negative numbers put things into the shops…
Hey, you've found a long-lost Numberphile video!
One day e^iπ will show up and then there will be some 'splainin' to do
Superb 😆
Kind of a Harry Nilsson The Point, or Yellow Submarine nowhere man vibe.
I thought the villain was going to be a decimal point, but ended up a fraction!
nice x-fer & color correction Frannie-these type of cartoons made learning fun, interesting, & entertaining back in the day, kind of like Fractured Fairy Tales
Brilliant, but then there was a raid on a pi shop. That's just irrational, said the sheriff.
Theatre pipe organ back ground music. I am impressed!
I really struggled getting my head around fractions, especially adding and multiplying them. I would always turn them into decimals and work with that. I found it easy to add 0.25 and 0.33! 😄
Great Film but these should be uploaded in 4:3 not 16:9
1971 = 1+9+7+1 =18 =1+8 = 9 ( I Ching or Yi Jing )
