VHF flashback 🤣
Fran you are great! Inspirational 🙂
William. Fountain pens work well for you. Nice.
Mike. Awesome penmanship. Draftsman.
I love when "scale" is shown. Those constructions are MASSIVE! You showed scale. Thanks Fran!
I know you did this intentionally, Fran. 😉
What's with the hiss! Wow. We were OK with that in the old days because that was all we knew, as far as "transmission". Other than real life, face to face, this was bringing reality right into our living room (Old) and Den. Now, media is like looking through a window. Go figure. (I think the Den came about because the wives hate sports, usually). Now the sports were in the "Living Room". Hence, the "Man Cave" was reborn. And for those of you that think "Linear". Life is "Cyclical". Well, "Existence" is, anyway. JMHO
It's the coolest thing I learned today, I love me my optics facts.
VHS !! LOVE IT! Any Beta? Still catching up and FYI it's G'day (Guh-Day) for our Australian Mates. I must get out a pen and send off a handwritten snail-mail.
So glad you got the Bina-View! That will surely be a fascinating video.
Can't ever start work til you have the Haynes manual.
Did you know that trilobite eyes were made of calcite crystals! Perhaps they used the polarization to perceive distance?
Hi Fran, I love viewer mail because I love packages too, and tend to get a fair few myself, mostly from ebay though so there's no real surprise. Years ago I had a video cassette recorder, a Sanyo Betacord which I loved at the time, huge weighty thing with serious buttons. I should have tossed it but loved it too much. Now it looks super vintage and I'd love it if the clock worked as I'd use it just for that. Another vintage thing I have is a 1950s AWA Radiola clock radio which is also in a non functional state, but I can't toss. There is apparently a man who restores them but I never got around to it. Anyway, keep going, you make great videos.
"I love science." <3
Do you often find yourself on VHS?
