Sometimes I find myself buying junk at hamfests then get home and say to myself, "now why in the hell did I buy that?" In the junk pile it goes. But, you never know — sometimes I've been able to fix something using some of the junk that's lying around.
They say, "One person's trash is another person's treasure." Then again, sometimes, "One person's trash is another person's trash." It's like the Monk episode where Adrian Monk was boxing up his garbage and mailing it to his psychologist during a garbage strike because it was the first address he could think of.

How about specified wish lists for individual projects? Say, you want to restore a certain device but need to replace a broken CRT and people get a 6 week window to ! not send one ! but post an offer? The 8-Bit guy does it that way: Before you send him something you first have to get his consent! But what a wonderful problem to have after what you have been through! FranLab is alive and soldering 😉
