fran im about to reach 73 and i was superman and on 250cc motorcycle found freedoom until someone decided not to indicate his rapid lane change which sent me on my first unsceduled space flight as i was effectively tboneing him and taking my first flight it was great freedoom traveling in the air until landing with broken collar bones and helmet worn flat (the head protection!) I love to reverse engineer stuff and push to challenge and sometimes think its time to retire or expire and redicover the scope and understanding life by returning to a simple menu. WTF my oscilliscope should do the same if only things were just X and Y axis. until to next asteroid we have to carry on. but without your contribution it might as well be now xx.
How about a challenge of learning to bake and we're cooking😊
I get bored and anxious without something to do – preferably, for money, which symbolises value, but a like on here or other SM, or just digging the result myself, really pulls me along. Starting is hard, though.
Good on you Fran learning to ride a motorcycle at a mature age. I started out on a Piaggio X9 250cc scooter when I was 46 yo. Later moved to a Honda VTR250 and more recently a Honda NC700. Did a bunch of touring and had some great times. Sold it recently – moved into an eCargo bike – great for me and my dog. Keep challenging yourself!
I can't really do Sudoku. Prefer things like Akari, Hashi, Nonograms, logic puzzles, etc.
Learning a language could be a
good challenge
and you do a brilliant challenge. thanks. everything you talk about is cool, educational. keep it coming, uncomfortable. no way listening to your posts brilliant FRAN.
Great topic CHALLENGE! !
This is Gold !…because it's EXTREMELY valuable wisdom you're sharing!!
***your presentation is flowing and interesting…full of valuable story examples and reflection of how they created posituve growth …this is wisdom and it reminds me of my lectures in yoga class that I attended bi-weekly for 12 yrs from my teacher, a well known Guru. The sharing of awakening experiences waters the sprouting consciousess(es) . May they all grow strong as they reach toward the Sun.
WOW
I have been a motorcycle rider since 1967. I would never advise anyone to start on a cruiser-style motorcycle because the forward controls are actually somewhat unnatural to riding. It forces a somewhat awkward riding position. I would have recommended what is today called a "naked motorcycle" (no bodywork, standard riding position). These have a standard riding position with the foot controls in the middle of the bike and a taller seat with your torso having a slight forward lean. I was really surprised to hear that you could get a MC license without an actual riding test. I am also a lone rider. I'm not antisocial, I just don't like being constrained by someone else's riding style or destination. I also don't like passengers. That really affects the bike's handling.
Your music’s great!
This sounds like AI stop it fran. I need real fran. This shit is fucked
Great to see real women in technology
Love you Fran. x My first bike was a Puch Maxi. It could get up to 25KPh at a push and couldntdo hills. 50 pence worth of petrol would last weeks though 😉
