Today all of a sudden I remembered that I owned a "Power Spark" welder toy in the 90's and in retrospect it was probably the most unique toy I ever owned. There's also pretty much only the trailer for it on youtube, so now I'm learning about friction welding xD

Spinwelding is done with rotary plumbing fittings on tanks, but I have never seen anything like this before! This technique seems to be limited to short welds. If someone could find a way to use it with longer rods, it might be more commercially viable.

Also, seems like the pre-made plastic welding rods, usually used with the hot air welders, would work well.

I had a wood burning kit as a 6 year old in the 1960's.
yes, I had one of those loved that toy, but the rods became scarce and expensive. I was just searching for it online and came across your video I was thinking it would be great for repairing car and motorcycle plastics
