A super short video but I hope this answers people's questions about what's up with my Hakko.

Fran, where can I buy the n-95 sheets. I do repairs of electronic devices from 1930 up to 1990, but I am also a diabetic; and with the covid-19 epidemic I am short on genuine n95 or P95 material. Any suggestions?

I don’t bother with this fume extraction business. Come on, what are you worried about? In fact, I like the smell. I always take a deep sniff actually, doh.

Any chance you could list the name and manufacturer of the sheets you used to buy? It'd be good information for us after the pandemic settles down.

My goodness this makes me ache to go upstairs at my office to unbox all of my electronic and soldering gear, I have a few crates of vacuum tubes, a pallet of speakers for guitar amps, rows of organizer tray shelves for every imaginable resistor and capacitor for audio amplification. My old B&K 30 Hz oscilloscope still works and I could make a few guitar amps if I got bored, the big problem is I never seem to have time, and when I do have the time I just don’t have the inclination! Looking at your set up makes me want to go get busy!

That's an idea for a workbench I'm planning – an ATX PSU to power several projects, which could easily be equipped with a filter. Luckily I'm still at the planning stage, so changes are no problem – as soon as I can afford the rest of the parts I'll probably add a drawer for a filter insert instead of taping filter material in front of the fan inlet.

Hi Fran. Congratulations! I just noticed the Subscriber number jump from 109k to 115k. If you'll pardon the phrasing – " you're on a roll baby!". It's great to see the channel growing.

I'm an Occupational Health & Safety Professional for 16 years – Aluminum brazing fumes killed my Grandfather (he made Spitfire planes in WW2 here in the UK) – it causes a disease that is like Alzheimers – and I know an automobile welder who's lungs have been destroyed. So you are quite right to control fumes. Hope you are coping OK with Lockdown. Hugs.

Random question that has nothing to do with the video at all. Being a PA person, do you like any of the snacks that are from our state? My favorite snack are the Middleswarth Potato Chips.
