You're a treasure, Fran, you deserve to live stress-free about funding and I'm sorry it's a new challenge every year. I'm on disability, myself, and it really seems to me that the system is designed to keep us sick, poor, and preferably non-existent. It's not right.

hi fran! i wish i could help contribute some money. the only thing i could contribute would be a green card marriage to a canadian woman (me, lol. i would never want to get married unless it was to help someone), but i’m sure you want to stay where your home is.
canadian single payer healthcare is getting gutted right now by my province’s conservative party. it’s very sad to see, and worries me greatly. im not covered to get the HPV vaccine bc it wasnt readily available to me before i turned 25, and i can’t afford the $400+ it would cost me to get it.
wishing you the best for 2023, fran, and if you ever have a peach fuzz and a cream puff to sell, i would love to buy them someday.

But yet you will still see people saying that the USA is the best place to live for doctors and medicine…..most of the most renowned doctors and chemists in the USA are from other countries…..I'm not sure how the USa would fair if it wasn't for the ability to pay the highest salaries and play with the newest toys that's paid for by bleeding patients dry of every last penny they have while providing less care…….the insurance plans/scams and state costs are like a dam predatory lending company for how vicious and heartless they can be towards people……just like robots with no empathy or compation that is unless they need it

I am not entirely opposed to government healthcare system in the U.S. I just don't want the U.S. government to be in charge of it. Perhaps some other country's government could manage a U.S. public health care system, competently, and without political agendas.
