This vintage hardwood desk chair was left in the garbage. The trash guys didn't take it - but I did! Just some oil soap, a little elbow grease, and a lot of love is all this great American chair needs. Oh - and a good home, in my wood shop.

Love your superior Captain's Chair! I have a near identical one here in Au, made of solid Oak by Sutchbury & Sons, an office furniture manufacturer in circa 1920. I also have a matching office desk by the same maker 🙂 May our chairs live on to be loved again as we have done 🙂 Nothing like this can be bought today from Ikea or Freedom–making those companies all the more stupid.
