A project within a project - In this video I show the process of converting a few vintage Soviet Nixie display modules to make a 3-digit BCD controlled counter for my upcoming live Fran-o-Thon on October 20th. Enjoy!

And well known red capacitors. We used to cut off little pieces from them to adjust the capacity when needed. I know that it sounds wierd but it works)

Is it OK to leave a comment just to tell the algorithm I'm engaging with a Fran video so it puts her higher up in the priority list? Not that the video in and of itself doesn't deserve a comment, quite the opposite, but I don't quite have anything more specific to say about it other than, "Cool!". Well, maybe also "You go, Fran!" and "Can't wait for the next one from my favorite tinkerer!" too.

Are all the edge connector pins used? if not, could you have routed the BCD to unused pins instead of using the ribbon cable?
