80% of the audio in this US Government film had to be deleted due to copyright claims. (USA!! USA!!)) But this interesting 16mm film was made by the City of Washington, DC to promote itself and stars William Shatner as our tour guide. This film was shot before the completion of the NASM on the Mall, but it includes an interesting visit at 12:15 to the National Air Museum which used to reside in a Quonset Hut located on the South Yard which contained the classic American aircraft as well as the Command Module Columbia and LEM2 at that time. When the NASM was built for the Bicentennial the National Air Museum was demolished. Enjoy!

Spock! What's going on?
We have been invaded, Captain.
Invaded? By what?
Trolls, Captain. Copyright trolls.
Forty nine years ago
Thank you, Fran, for this. The message at the end is more important these days than ever. But, it's interesting that they hired a Canadian to tell this story!
Two Thumbs up on the Video, And Two Ear Flops on the Audio….But it still got a few Eye pops, and Some Tail Wags on the History Part..
Copyright trolls sure do hate history.
So…. Shatner's vice has not been copyrighted by Maurice LaMarche?
Love the thumbnail
Hard to believe the behaviour of these trolls.
It's a public service film, why let the music be used if you don't want it to be heard. It's not like it's a top 10 hit or anything.
The original creators are not the problem, it's the parasites who get control of the material. Name and shame them I say. ๐
Kinda ironic hearing Shatner say, โour government โ when heโs actually Canadianโฆโฆ
Shatner's cadence must have made gating the music a tedious exercise.
This music copyright thing is out of control.
